For the listed models height extension tubes are required if coaxial traps are used on the pump inlet. One or more extension tubes should be ordered to raise the exhaust filter above the specified height of the trap.

Models 1426B and 1416C Mist Eliminator Systems are recommended for vacuum systems with continuous pressure of 1 Torr (1mm) or higher. At these pressures, conventional exhaust filters quickly saturate. The Mist Eliminator System continuously separates oil mist from the vacuum pump exhaust and actively returns the oil to the pump.
1. CAUTION: Two stage vane vacuum pumps should not be operated continuously at pressures above 10 Torr (10 mm Hg).
